My hubby and I plus fourteen others from our church attended the Worship Matters conference in Michigan this past Friday and Saturday. It was great, but even better were the debriefing/brainstorming sessions with our fellow church members. Community is so important.
I’m glad I belong to the ROW community. I hope 2012 is the best year for each of us.
Now, on with the check-in…
Editing
- working on Josie’s manuscript and adding one small scene Deb’s
- a new project that I should have completed within the next two weeks, possibly by this coming Friday
Writing
I had a follow-up interview to write and fire off, so I didn’t get my Saturday blogging done. It’s on the agenda for today.
Submissions
Does anyone know an agent or a royalty publisher who makes house calls?
Reading
I plan to post my review of From Blah to Awe today…and my review of A Sound Among the Trees next Saturday. Once they go live, I’ll get to choose another book from Blogging for Books and one from Booksneeze.
My doula reading and PT review are still hovering in the queue.
Volunteer Work
I have some work to do this week, but things are on schedule.
Exercise & Fitness
Push Up Challenge – I didn’t feel well last week, but I hope to get back at it this week.
Full-body Workout – The plan is to do three to four workouts this coming week.
If my exercise buddy’s back is feeling better, hopefully we can get together a couple of times this week.
Housekeeping
I left the house in pretty good shape before going to the conference.
Job Applications
- on hold as I have plenty on my plate
ROW Specific Goals
Check in twice per week – yepper
I’ve popped by a few sites. Tomorrow? Thursday? We’ll see
Continue connecting with my writing buddy regularly. Julie…Julie…Are you there?
Today’s Thought…
True freedom also means freedom to cry.
Glad to hear your conference was a success.
Have a great week
