I’m waiting to hear from two new editing clients. If they both hire me, I’m going to be especially busy for the next four to six months – and that’s a good thing.
I’ve written the second last chapter of Deb’s book. I hope to complete the last chapter this coming week.
The formatted copy of Shattered Silence has been emailed to the client. Hopefully, we’ll get any tweaking done within the next week, and that will be another project to check off my To Do list.
I’ve done a little work on my children’s chapter book. I think it’s time to develop an outline. I have enough momentum to create a short story. But a full-length book? Not really. This whole thing is going to make a planner out of me yet.
Reading for my course is on schedule. Yay!
Instead of choosing a song of the week, I think I’ll find a cable station I enjoy and leave it to play in the background. I love music, but I often forget about it.
I was at a one-year-old’s birthday on Saturday, and some of us got talking about exercise. It got me motivated. The plan is to exercise for 30 minutes five to six times next week. I’ll let you know how it goes come next Sunday.
Since I spent a couple of days in Niagara Falls, I haven’t gotten back to the Art Every Day Month challenge. I have done more than 13 projects since the beginning of the month though, so I guess that’s something.
I’ve come up with a number of picture book ideas that I hope to develop in the next year. I’m going to dust off some old manuscripts and submit some of them this month and next. I hope to have one or two manuscripts ready to fire off every month. The doors will never open if I don’t keep knocking. Thank you, Picture Book Idea Month Challenge.
I have to set a specific day each month to spend prepping and firing off submissions. Just thinking about it isn’t going to make it happen.
It has been kind of cool. I’ve been stopping by some ROW sites I’ve never visited before. It’s nice to get to know more of you.
Hope this is just the beginning of a wonderful week, my fellow ROWers.
