ROW80 Check-in

It hasn’t been a week for the history books. Slow computer. Mild virus – me, not the computer. Faulty furnace. Evident character flaws. Sigh!

On the upside…It made great fodder for my blogs.

Editing

This week I plan to make significant headway with the new manuscript I’m working on.

I have the last issue of the Write! On news bulletin to edit. I have temporarily taken on more responsibilities in this regard. Temporary may very well become a two-year commitment.

Carolyn has called, and we will start working on the final edit of her manuscript next week.

Writing

Deb will have her last chapter to review on Sunday so we can discuss any “final” changes when we talk on Monday…final until we get a publisher that is.

I will give myself until the end of the year to finish the essay and the research paper, but I would prefer to have them completed before Christmas. Having them done before my son comes home from college would be even better. I’m going to pick him up on the 20th.

I have begun looking for publishers for my children’s books. I have not, however, written any more of my chapbook or submitted any picture book ideas.

The blogging is going well. Life always provides a good springboard. I find people connect with openness and honesty – even when I’m in a funk.

Christmas Skits

Skit 1 has been cast and the rehearsal set. It’ll all be history by 7:30 Wednesday.

Skit 2 has been finalized. I want to cast it and hand out the parts on Sunday.

Submissions

There’s always hope this will be the week. I have hunted up some possible publishers. It’s a start.

Reading

Skills development…not much.

Reading for my course…falling behind, but not unrecoverable.

Shadows on the Sand…finished, review posted. Once the review is up on christianbook.com, I get to choose another freebie. In the meantime, I’ll get started on my first booksneeze book.

Volunteer Work

I will re-watch the webinar; really, I will.

Exercise

I have re-prioritized the things on my To Do list. Barring illness, this coming week will mark a fresh start. The Plan…cardio 5 x 30 minutes; resistance 3x.

Have a Spectacular Week
