ROW Check-in (April 9)

I will refer back to my original list of goals for this round once per month and then again, at the end. Here’s where things are at for now…

Editing Goals

~ complete edit of 90,000-word manuscript on prayer (I should have the first and second edits done by Monday.)

~ complete edit of 27,000-word fiction manuscript (I’ll probably be starting this come Tuesday.)

~ continue as first editor of the Write! On news bulletin (first draft of Issue #08 fired off Saturday)

Writing Goals

Blogging ~ five poems per week; six additional posts per week (on track with poems; I may not have time to put up the other posts this weekend.)

Article for the online edition of Christian Life in London (hope to write this before Wednesday)

Two five-minute skits for our mid-week kids’ program

Submissions Goals

My revised submission goal is to submit two to four items per month…book manuscripts, articles, etc. (This is definitely my weak area.)

Reading Goals

Reading for my course (behind…again)

Reading to maintain my PTS certification (no pressure here; I have until June to write the exam.)

Exercise & Fitness Goals

Cardio (2 x 40 minutes last week)

Must add resistance this coming week

Row Specific Goals

Check in twice per week (on track)

Quote of the Day

Finding the balance between what we must do, what we should do, and what we want to do is not always easy, but it’s worth some serious thought.

  1. Your goals are expansive and dynamic, and the amount you have already achieved is delightful. Great for you, Steph. Keep your strength focused. You can clearly do it.
