The Perfect Poem

So often I’ve sought to capture

That perfect representation

Of the beauty

The wispiness

The softness

And even though I did better than before

It’s only a respresentation

It is not the plant

You cannot touch

The softness

You cannot feel

The wind that is blowing

You are removed

Though there are many representations of

God’s perfection

All around

Embracing the representation

Is not the same as knowing Him

And you can know

The One who is Perfection

“For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made” (Romans 1:19-20 ESV).
