Weaving Poetry

My mom and I used to take road trips to out-of-the-way galleries and boutiques. I remember loving the abstract tapestries we discovered on one of our trips.

Today’s challenge was to write a loop poem, so here is, perhaps, the world’s shortest in this poetic form. (Remember to pop by and visit some of the other OctPoWriMo participants as well.)

Woman at Loom

A poem is a tapestry
Made up of many threads
Tapestry that tells a story
Threads woven together

And my second poem for today . . .

Woven with great care
Various textures and hues
Together complete
